Jinlan Zhao is a composer and a violinist currently majoring in Electronic Production & Design and Game and Interactive Media Scoring at Berklee College of Music. She was admitted to the Middle School affiliated with the Central Conservatory of Music at the age of 11, where she studied classical violin under Professor Lin Yue. She has won numerous international awards, including first prizes in the Singapore International Music Competition, the sixth prize in the Kogan International Competition, and the first prize of the New York Golden Classical Music Awards.

Jinlan is deeply curious about the emotional possibilities of sound. Her current work explores hybrid sound worlds, blending acoustic nuance with digital innovation in modular synthesis, interactive audio, and cross-cultural storytelling.

Beyond music, Jinlan enjoys reading, watching films, playing games, and exploring great food around the world.
